Engineering and construction group Valmec says it has won $11.8 million worth of contracts with several clients.

In a statement today, Perth-based Valmec said the contracts were for oil and gas maintenance services, construction and government infrastructure operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

Managing director Steve Dropulich said the contract wins were on the back of the integration of Valmec’s services business last year.

Valmec’s capability to deliver both diversified and scalable project and service offerings within greater client markets continues to position the company well in the current operations and maintenance phase of the project cycle,” Mr Dropulich said.

“Particularly pleasing are the recent awards secured by the group’s Indigenous Alliance with Pindari within the resources sector.

“The alliance continues to gain increased recognition in the sector having already delivered several projects to our client within budget and schedule parameters and with strong safety performances.”

Valmec shares were unchanged at 14.5 cents each at 9:50am.
