FEDERAL Trade Minister Mark Vaile has undertaken an overseas trip to Japan, Singapore and India.
In Japan, Mr Vaile met with government ministers to put forward Australia’s case with regard to the proposed increase in beef tariffs. In Singapore Mr Vaile signed the Singapore-Australia free trade agreement. It is the first such agreement Australia has entered into in 20 years. In India Mr Vaile met Indian government ministers and led a business delegation through India.
