Ever get the feeling that the market over the past twleve months was particularly volatile?
I don’t think any of us realised how volatile the market actually was until the highly respected and credentialled team at Advance Funds Management put together the above chart.
As shown, the market started the year at around 2,610 and went all the way to just below 2,900 before commencing a downward slide to about 2,450.
This was then reversed with the index heading back over 2,800 — a very volatile year with impacts almost on a daily basis from around the world.
