Perth technology company Track'em has been awarded its second contract with Downer this year for the provision of its cloud-based asset tracking software.

It follows a contract awarded by Downer in January for operations on an LNG asset in Western Australia.

Under the new 12-month contract, Track’em will provide full visibility on materials and digitised audit and assurance trail for materials associated with a coal seam gas (CSG) development project.

Track’em chief executive Kashif Saleem said the company was excited to continue its partnerships with Downer.

Downer contract manager Troy Parry said the NSW-based company had previously worked with Track’em on multiple projects across Australia.

“Track’em’s technology and apps allow us to perform inspections and fill out checklists and documentation in the field digitally,” he said.

“Not only does this save time, it benefits data quality and enables us to consolidate important information in one trusted system that can be accessed by the teams involved.”

The contract includes a possible extension for continuous engagement on the project.
