Reiwa members reported a decrease in weekly sales to 604 this week. The overall 4 per cent decrease in sales over the week is attributed to a 6 per cent decrease in sales for houses. Sales for units remained stable, while vacant land sales experienced an increase of 14 per cent.
Properties listed for sale increased by 2 per cent over the week to 14,948. Listings for units, houses, and vacant land increased 1 per cent, 2 per cent and 3 per cent respectively.
The total number of listings recorded this week is 4 per cent higher than four weeks ago, but remains 8 per cent lower than the same time last year.
Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent decreased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week to 10,594. This also represents a 1 per cent decrease compared with four weeks ago but still remains 22 per cent higher than the same time last year.
