Reiwa members reported a decrease in weekly sales to 549 this week. The overall 19 per cent decrease in sales over the week is attributed to an 18 per cent decrease in sales for houses, 15 per cent for units and 33 per cent for land.

Total properties listed for sale recorded a marginal increase of 1 per cent to 15,194 this week from 14,995 last week. Listings for houses have increased 2 per cent while unit listings have recorded a marginal increase of 1 per cent.

There was no change in land listings in percentage terms.

The total number of listings recorded this week is 1 per cent lower compared with four weeks ago, but is 6 per cent higher than the same time last year.

Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent increased by a marginal 1 per cent to 10,331.

However, this is 4 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and 40 per cent higher than the same time last year.
