Listings are the big mover again this week, rising a further 1.5% and pushing through the 12,000 equilibrium.
In terms of sales activity, there was little change in the overall figure this week and negligible movement in the various market sectors from last week. The 17% increase since 1 October has been far from uniform across the market with the Central and South East sub-regions up 22% and 21% respectively whilst the three other outer sub-regions; North West (15%), North East (12%) and South West (8%) all below the overall increase.
Rental listings continue to hover around the 5,800 level and no change in the latest median rents for the 3 months to October.
