This week's property round-up

This week, Reiwa members reported an increase in weekly sales to 685.

The overall 13 per cent increase in sales over the week is attributed to a 16 per cent increase in sales for houses, 8 per cent for units and 2 per cent for land. Total properties listed for sale recorded a marginal increase of 1 per cent to 15,453 this week from 15,374 last week.

Listings for units and land have increased 2 per cent and 3 per cent respectively, while house listings have marginally decreased by 1 per cent.

The total number of listings recorded this week is 2 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 8 per cent higher than the same time last year.  

Turning to the rental market, Reiwa members reported total properties available for rent increased by a marginal 1 per cent over the week to 9,566. This is 3 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and 45 per cent higher than the same time last year.
