YHB Group’s Managing Director Mark Anderson has over 30 years industry experience, launching his own business in Bunbury at 21, employing up to 20 people and 4 apprentices. Moving on to a position as Construction Manager, over a 12 year period he became General Manager of 2 of Australia’s largest builders.
Beginning YHB Group in Western Australia in a wholesale capacity, over the last 5 years our company soon expanded. Within a few years, YHB Group have also become successful home builders in Victoria and Queensland. Hard work and a commitment to affordable excellence are key to our success, and expansion.
Whether constructing residential homes through home and land packages or embarking on multi-unit builds with developers, our ethos is simple: when beginning a new build, people need to be able to rely on us. Knowledge matters, and our building supervisors require a minimum 5 years’ industry experience.
While the market is levelling off sales, there is still a strong flow for the finishing trades into the 3rd quarter of this year, before slowing down into 2024. Material prices remain volatile in some areas of the market, and there are still influxes and shortages of trades, as the influx of the stimulus comes into completion.
At present the domestic and overseas investor is beginning to come back into the market. While interest rates continue to remain an issue, there are strong signs of purchasers. While some in the media present mostly pessimistic predictions, YHB Group take a more optimistic stance for the foreseeable future.
