Dunsborough.

Best place in Perth to take out-of-towners?

Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach and Fremantle Maritime Museum.

Biggest travel disaster and what did you learn from it?

We allowed three hours to drive from Lake Como in Italy to Milan train station (about 100 kilometres) to take a train to Paris at 9am. We made good time until we ran into Milan peak hour traffic in the rain. Missed the train and it rained all day. Sat around all day for a 4pm train. Should have started earlier.

How often do you travel? Is it usually for business or pleasure?

Ten or so times a year, usually for business.

What’s always in your carry on luggage?

A book.

Where have you always wanted to travel?

South America.

You hope that Perth always retains ...

... its family friendly atmosphere.

What WA/Perth restaurant do you keep going back to?

Pronto’s in Bay View Terrace, Claremont.

What advice would you give to airlines?

Keep trying.

Spare pair of trousers and shirt.

Sydney, Melbourne.

What technology do you travel with?

Blackberry and laptop computer.
