It is the time of year when we start to look seriously at our tax planning arrangements and, in particular, our superannuation strategies to put us in a more comfortable position.
So what is available now?
The researchers at MLC and Flexiplan have encapsulated the strategies available in the table above.
The common theme is that, in almost all instances, the key seems to be the increase in the amount of superannuation benefits generated.
This can be either through increased superannuation contribution or through using our spouses to achieve the same thing.
The important thing is that it creates additional superannuation benefits at the same time as providing taxation advantages.
These strategies should be pursued with financial planners and advisers as the end of the financial year approaches.
