Stakic playing brand new role

FORMER Brand Agency account director Tania Stakic (pictured) has left the security of a big organisation to set up niche marketing company Redbox Consulting.

Redbox will offer strategic marketing and business development, a service pitched at the medium to large businesses sector.

“It’s aimed at two types of companies,” Ms Stakic said. “The first type is the medium organisation that can’t justify having a full-time marketing manager but knows it has to do some thing.

“They are willing to invest in someone part-time and what I am is a risk-free purchase, as they use me when they need me.

“The second type are the larger organisations that have marketing departments but need the support of someone when it gets very busy or they have special projects that they need a specialist to work on.”

In her first week of business Ms Stakic has presented to six potential clients and has a call back for three of those.

“What I do is fairly niche. I’m not a full service provider,” she said.

“I can do the broad strategic planning and assess the future opportunities and strategic alliances or the one-off projects like brand auditing.”

Ms Stakic said the company would offer services such as: brand auditing, integrated strategic marketing plans; the development and implementation of marketing, advertising sponsorship and promotional strategies; brand strategy audits; and the sourcing and establishment of strategic alliances.

“I have found that there are a lot of managers directly involved in the day-to-day running of the business who also ‘wear the marketing hat’,” she said. “They are busy and it’s often one of those things that gets relegated to the bottom of the pile. I can free them up to work on their core business while I produce successful results on time and on budget.”
