South Africa offers great opportunities for Australian exporters and investors, says South African High Commissioner and former deputy speaker of the South African parliament Bhadra Ranchod.
Dr Ranchod told a recent meeting of the Australia-Southern Africa Business Council that South Africa was attracting considerable interest in Australia.
Dr Ranchod said South Africa was embracing global-isation with the government embarking on a program to
privatise and deregulate
industry in South Africa.
“The mining industry in South Africa is going to be opened up. Foreign mining companies such as in Australia have a great opportunity,” he said.
