Following the retirement of Vic Justice, the Kimberley Ports Authority has appointed Kevin Schellack as its new chief executive officer, to take effect in the New Year.
Mr Schellack joins the Kimberley Ports Authority from his current role as chief operating officer of the Southern Ports Authority, and has worked extensively in port management in both Australia and China.
The Kimberley Ports Authority is the result of an amalgamation of the Wyndham, Derby, Yampi Sound and proposed James Price Point ports, as well as the Broome port, which is the principal deep water port servicing the Kimberley region.
