Subiaco-based SRG Global has secured new contracts with Alcoa and Albemarle, bolstering its order book by $80 million.

The construction services company told shareholders it had secured a four-year contract for industrial services across its Wagerup and Pinjarra alumina refineries.

As its third significant contract with the aluminum producer, SRG has now become an embedded partner across all three of Alcoa’s alumina refineries in Western Australia.

In addition, SRG also inked a two-and-a-half year contract with Albemarle for specialist access services, one of the first contracts issued at its newly commissioned Kemerton lithium refinery.

SRG managing director David Macgeorge said he was excited the company had been awarded two significant new contracts.

“We are delighted to be awarded another contract with Alcoa which is recognition for the critical services we provide as an embedded partner to their business,” he said.

“The Albemarle contract is also very pleasing as we add to our long list of quality blue-chip clients and enter the growing and important lithium segment.

“Importantly, both contracts will result in local employment opportunities.”

Shares in SRG Global closed up 2.94 per cent today to trade at 70 cents.
