SRG Global has won a $90 million contract for infrastructure work on a road and bridge intersection in NSW.

The Subiaco-based engineering services company announced it has secured a contract with Transport for NSW valued at about $90 million.

SRG Global said the contract covered construction work to upgrade Princes Highway and Jervis Bay Road intersection at Falls Creek, south of Nowra.

According to SRG Global, the contract will start immediately and work is expected to be completed by 2026.

SRG Global managing director David Macgeorge said the NSW project followed the company’s recent delivery of a cantilever bridge in Bolivia Hill, also in NSW.

“This award is an outcome of our proven ability to target any major road and bridge projects in Australia, through now having the highest national road and bridge accreditation (R5/B4),” he said.

“The Jervis Bay Road and Princess Highway intersection upgrade contract reaffirms SRG Global’s market leading position for the delivery of complex road and bridge projects. We look forward to working with Transport for NSW to deliver a safer Princes Highway with projects that include new and improved roads and bridges as part of the Australian and NSW governments’ significant investment in transport infrastructure to meet the needs of regional communities.”

SRG Global said the upgraded intersection would be a grade separated interchange with a bridge that would travel over Jervis Bay Road, connecting to roundabouts on either side of the highway.
