SRG Global has secured $100 million worth of contracts with Iron Bridge Operations and Visy Industries Australia.

The Subiaco-based engineer group announced on the ASX that it was awarded a five-year contract with Iron Bridge, an unincorporated joint venture between Fortescue Metals Group subsidiary FMG Iron Bridge and Formosa Steel IB.

The contract is a master agreement for maintenance and shutdown services, providing rope access and electrical maintenance across Iron Bridge’s magnetite project in Western Australia.

The maintenance contract with Visy Industries Australia is for specialist refractory installation at their Adelaide glass manufacturing facility.

According to the ASX announcement, the combined value of the contracts is around $100 million starting immediately.

SRG Global managing director David Macgeorge said the contracts represented a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand services with blue-chip clients across multiple industries and to build on its portfolio of annuity earnings agreements.

“We are excited to be expanding our relationship with Fortescue and play an integral role in the maintenance of the Iron Bridge joint venture operation, which is such an innovative and significant project for Western Australia,” he said.

“We are equally pleased to be selected by Visy Industries Australia to deliver the critical maintenance services required for their glass manufacturing operations in Adelaide.”

SRG Global also booked a five-year contract in May, valued at $95 million, to provide civil maintenance works at Alcoa’s alumina refinery in Kwinana.
