Cynthia Dowell has been appointed to the role of group director nursing at St John of God Health Care. Ms Dowell will have responsibilities across the group’s 23 health care facilities including 17 hospitals, disability services and home nursing in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific.
She was most recently the chief nursing officer/executive director surgery and specialist services with professional responsibility for more than 2,000 nurses at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.
