RCR chief to resign

Wednesday, 2 July, 2008 - 17:23

Engineering company RCR Tomlinson Ltd has announced that chief executive John Noordhoek has decided to resign from the role to take on his former role within the company as chief operating officer.

RCR said that an executive search firm will be engaged to recruit a new CEO.

The board extends its thanks to John who has made a significant contribution to RCR and stepped up as acting CEO early last year during a difficult period of the former CEO's incapacitation due to ill health before being appointed CEO in 2007.

The continued growth and size of the company's order book and tendering levels currently experienced by RCR requires John's specific skill set to be utilised in managing that aspect of the business. John will continue as CEO until the new appointment is made.
