Quickflix has beefed up its digital streaming service, signing a content deal with Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios to distribute films to its subscribers.
The Perth-based movie rental firm said subscribers would be soon able to access films from MGM’s vast catalogue, including titles from United Artists, Orion Pictures, Goldwyn Entertainment and PolyGram Filmed Entertainment.
Quickflix has previously announced streaming content deals with Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, NBCUniversal and HBO.
At close of trade today, Quickflix stocks had fallen 3.7 per cent, trading at 13 cents.
