SKYWEST has received a letter from Qantaslink claiming approximately $925,000 as monies due for what it describes as “passenger security screening services” at certain regional Western Australian airports dating from March 2002. In a statement, Skywest said it was surprised by the demand from Qantaslink which refers to, among other issues, the company’s “liability of charges without agreement”. Skywest said it was currently investigating the letter.
