THE Perth branch of Chesterton International has confirmed a merger with Colliers Jardine to create a firm generating up to $12 million a year in revenue.

Next month, the commercial property agencies will begin trading as a franchise under the Colliers Jardine banner.

The new entity will be owned by Perth shareholders although the national Colliers Jardine operation will retain a stake.

Chesterton managing director Graham Iddles has been appointed chief executive officer of the new branch.

Mr Iddles said the Perth branch of Chesterton had been looking to merge with another operation for a few years and had held discussions with several parties, but had not found a suitable partner until now.
