Peter Wade to chair GCS

Global Construction Services has appointed Mineral Resources managing director Peter Wade as its non-executive chairman.

The construction services group announced today that Mr Wade would take over the chairmanship from Sam Miangione, who will continue as a non-executive director.

GCS Group managing director Enzo Gulotti said the company was delighted to have attracted Mr Wade to the company.

“His experience, skills and accomplishments will be invaluable as he leads the GCS Group board in continuing to execute its growth strategy and bolstering the board and governance of GCS Group,” Mr Gulotti said in a statement to the ASX.

Also today, GCS announced the appointment of Carlo Genovesi to the role of general manager of finance and administration.

Mr Genovesi is a qualified CPA that has held a number of chief financial officer positions in Australia and overseas, including Alcoa, Wesfarmers and Norelsk Nickel.
