A RECENT report has found mobility will be the driver for PC sales in Australia this year.
The Australia: PC Market Outlook 2003 report cites the increasing use of wireless technologies such as 802.11b and the decreasing set-up costs of wireless local area networks as reasons for growth in the mobile PC market.
The report suggests medium and large companies are the likely growth markets.
It states that mobile PCs or notebooks will also be in demand from home users.
Competitive prices and increased performance have made the notebook a popular choice for home users the report states.
