Orion Gold has appointed its chief operating officer, Bill Oliver, to the board as a technical director.
Mr Oliver was co-founder and director of Kamax Resources, which Orion bought last year.
Victoria-based Orion director Martin Bouwmeester has stepped down from the board but remains as the company’s CFO and company secretary.
