Paul D’Arcy is the newly appointed chief executive officer of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Mr D’Arcy, who was most recently deputy chief executive officer with the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, was awarded the 2002 Trevor Riddell President’s award for Recognition of Excellence at the Exhibition and Events Association of Australia.
Mr D’Arcy has three decades of experience in the convention and exhibition industry, and international expertise in hotel management and hospitality.
The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre is schedulled to open in July 2004.
