FOUNDER and director of Shearmans PR, Carla Shearman, has announced the closure of her public relations consultancy after 12 years in business. Ms Shearman has accepted a contract with Edith Cowan University to lecture in public relations and will be working in conjunction with the School of Communication and Contemporary Arts to improve the PR units offered at the school. She is also planning to write a book on public relations, starting next year, and will continue in her role as deputy chair of the Constable Care Child Safety Foundation. The closure of Shearmans PR will be effective on January 31 2007.
