Shelagh Magadza has been appointed as artistic director of the UWA Perth International Arts Festival, replacing Lindy Hume whose final of four festivals ends in March next year. Ms Magadza is currently associate director of PIAF and will be responsible for delivering four festivals from 2008 to 2011.
