Board of directors: Tony Parker – chairperson, Heather Zampatti, John Doyle, Ian Shepherd, Glyn Palmer, Julian Walter, Marianne Brockwell, Kelly Yates Longley. Management: Vern Reid – general manager, Lesley Hooper – fundraising development manager. The PMH Foundation encourages and facilitates the general public, community groups and business to pull together and support the hospital. Each year, the Foundation launches a campaign to raise money for a specific area in the hospital that requires updating or replacing. Funds are also channeled into the hospital’s vital medical research area. On June 14, the foundation together with the Rotary Club of Western Endeavour is hoping to break a Guinness World Record by organising the worlds ‘Largest Quiz’ for over 1,000 people. The record currently stands at 1,172 people pending no other attempts. Businesses are encouraged to get a table of 10 people together and register, with proceeds going to Princess Margaret Hospital and Rotary. Contestants will be playing for a luxury twilight cruise for 20 aboard the 65 foot yacht Starsand complete with beverages by Juniper Estate Wines and Gage Roads Brewing Company. Tickets are $30 per person and include two bottles of Juniper Estate wine and a gourmet tasting platter. Call the PMH Foundation on 9489 1100 for more information.
