Engineering contractor Monadelphous has booked about $160 million worth of contracts and extensions for projects across the country.

Monadelphous Group announced on the ASX earlier this week that it secured a contract to provide operations, maintenance and industrial services to support energy services Petrofac.

Petrofac is the lead contractor in decommissioning of the Northern Endeavour Floating Production, Storage and Offtake facility located about 550 kilometres northwest of Darwin in the Timor Sea.

According to Monadelphous' ASX announcement, this would be the Victoria Park-based company's first offshore decommissioning contract.

Work is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023.

Monadelphous has also been appointed to a panel providing non-process infrastructure services across Fortescue Metals Group's operations in the Pilbara.

The appointment is for three years, with a one-year extension option.

Monadelphous secured a master agreement with Yancoal Australia for major overhaul and heavy shutdown services at the Mount Thorley Warkworth Mine in New South Wales.

A three-year extension has also been awarded to Monadelphous to continue its general, electrical and mechanical maintenance at Boddington Gold Mine in WA and Tanami Gold Mine in the Northern Territory.

The maintenance work include shutdown support and tank refurbishment services.
