WESTERN Australian Local Government Association president Bill Mitchell has been elected vice president of the Australian Local Government Association, the first time a WA representative has held a presidential office of ALGA since 1987.
Mr Mitchell has been a member of the ALGA executive since 2002 and has held the WALGA presidency since August.
