Mincor discovery

MID-SIZED nickel producer Mincor Resources has confirmed a potentially major nickel discovery just south of its flagship Miitel nickel mine in Kambalda, after drilling discovered a strong mineralisation. Mincor managing director David Moore, said the intersection suggested the likely presence of a second parallel ore trend at South Miitel, with very favourable implic-ations for the overall size of the new discovery. Drilling will now proceed with two rigs full-time at South Miitel, while a third rig continues drilling north of North Miitel, where exploration work has already been successful. A fourth diamond drill rig is active for the company on regional nickel exploration, while Mincor’s gold exploration is advancing with one aircore drilling rig.
