The value of personal finance commitments in WA fell by 4 per cent in December 2004 to $682.5 million.
However, over the year to December, the value of personal commitments was up by 2.5 per cent.
Across Australia, the value of personal finance commitments fell by three per cent to $6.4 billion between November and December 2004.
Over the year to December 2004, the value of personal commitments in Australia was down by 5.4 per cent.
