LANDCORP is a step closer to relinquishing its hold on prime Joondalup land with the sale of a lot in Davidson Terrace for $320,000.
The sale takes commercial sales in Joondalup City to over $30 million.
Lands Minister Doug Shave said the sale was a key achievement in the government program to build a dynamic economic centre in Perth’s growing north-west corridor.
“All eighty-one of the CBD lots have now been sold and Joondalup CBD is a thriving, growing centre that has attracted major companies,” Mr Shave said.
He said that of the eighty-one lots sold, fifty-six had been developed.
Target, Harvey Norman and Condor Furniture are among the many business that have recently moved into Joondalup.
