HBF Health Fund managing director Michael Gurry, 53, has been appointed to the board of directors of online insurance broker Insurance My Way.
Prior to joining HBF in November 1998, Mr Gurry was managing director of DMR Group Australia Pty Ltd and president of the Asia Pacific division of DMR Group Inc for seven years.
Mr Gurry also spent seventeen years with IBM in a number of executive roles in Perth, Sydney and New York including a period as State manager WA.
Insurance My Way’s managing director Tim Wise said Mr Gurry’s broad experience in health, banking, insurance, management consulting and information technology would be invaluable to the company.
“Mr Gurry joins the board of Insurance My Way at an exciting time for our company as we develop creative and innovative ways of exposing our portal to generate sustainable growth,” Mr Wise said.
