IT firm wins ABS work

Perth-based ASG Group has won a $10 million contract to provide IT services to the Australian Bureau of Statistics over a two-year term.

Under the contract, ASG will provide a solution to the bureau to enhance its production of coherent, in-depth statistical information from multiple sources.

ASG managing director Geoff Lewis said the contract would significantly expand the company’s enterprise applications footprint in the federal government space.

“ASG has one of the largest enterprise analytics practices in Australia and we are excited to deliver our unique expertise to help federal government departments transform their technology environments, delivering definitive business outcomes,” Mr Lewis said.

“This is our first engagement with the ABS and we are confident that this is just the beginning of a valuable, long-term partnership.”

ASG shares were 2.2 per cent higher to $1.14 each at 9:45am.
