AUSTRALIA’S only listed education company IBT Education will buy ACL, the nation’s largest privately-owned provider of English language education, in a deal worth up to $55.7 million. The purchase, the first major acquisition by IBT, should be finalised by the end of the month and add $65 million to the company’s revenue this year. IBT Education provides study programs to help local and international students get into university. It has colleges around the globe, including one in Perth.
