Hammer Metals have defined and mapped multiple exciting drill targets at a number of their key prospects within the Mt Isa project area in Queensland.

Peak rock chip samples which helped to define the drill targets at the company's Hammertime prospect included an outstanding copper result grading 29% copper and others included a gold result of 2.47 grams per tonne and 50 grams per tonne silver.

Hammer previously announced that their first drill hole into the Hammertime prospect intersected a very large 216m thick zone of IOCG style alteration with disseminated copper and gold averaging 0.17% Cu from surface.

Rock chip sampling at Hammer’s Kalman West target near Mt Isa also defined a 7km zone containing elevated copper, gold, lead and zinc with sporadically elevated silver and molybdenum. They included 2.48g/t Au, 20g/t Ag, 19% Cu, 0.17% Pb and 0.13% Zn over a currently sampled strike length of approximately 7.5km.

Multiple XRF analyses of the surface exposure at the company’s nearby Overlander Central prospect also defined a higher grade zone of +1% Copper.
