Get in the Hole app tees off

A new app that offers discounts to golfers at a number of golf courses in Western Australia and Bali has made its debut.

Get in the Hole golf voucher app offers users access to vouchers for use at a selection of 19 public, resort, and private golf courses across categories such as green fees, twilight golf, driving range, pro-shop and coaching.

The idea for the startup was born while Mike Bullen was a student in the Founder Institute program at Spacecubed, but was later refined and polished outside of the incubator before launching in time for Father’s Day earlier this month.

The app is free for golf courses to promote up to 10 vouchers across 14 categories, while golfers can also download the app for free and gain access to 10 offers.

An annual fee of $25 will give golfers access to all of the vouchers.

“Think of it as the entertainment book for golf,” Mr Bullen said.

“I wanted to bring a product out to market that offered golf courses more value and a new way to increase the yield across all areas of their businesses rather than just focusing on the green fees aspect, and at the same time make it a good cost-value proposition for golfers to get out, play more golf and meet more people in doing that.”
