GR Engineering wins $55m of work

GR Engineering Services has been awarded two gold industry contracts, and expects a third to follow, bringing total revenue into the business of about $55 million.

It has been awarded the engineering design package for a new 1.6mtpa gold plant in Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa, and an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a regrind project for a major gold mine in Australia.

It has also been issued with a conditional letter of intent to award an EPC contract for the upgrade and recommissioning of a1.5mtpa gold plant in Australia.

Led by managing director Joe Ricciardo, the company said it is buoyed by its current work in hand, which is tracking to forecast budgets and schedules, and the pipeline of future potential work via the conversion of late stage feasibility studies.

It is currently engaged in 25 feasibility studies.

About $45 million of the extra revenue is due this financial year.

On this basis, the total revenue in hand for the financial year stands in the order of $150 million.
