Environmental Regulation Briefing

The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia in conjunction with the Department of Environment is conducting a briefing on the Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2003 titled On The Move – Towards a Better Environment, at the Technology Park Function Centre.

The briefing will focus on the Environmental Protection Amendment Act 2003, outlining the changes to the Act, their implementation and implications for various stakeholders and their impacts on existing policies and regulations.

Areas that will be covered during the briefing include the new offence of environmental harm; native vegetation clearing controls; regulatory provisions; and the contaminated sites bill.
