Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri has exercised 250,000 options to acquire shares at $10 each, increasing his stake in the engineering construction group to 2.5 million shares. With Monadelphous shares currently trading at $19.63 each, his stake is valued at $49 million.
Last week we reported that Troy Resources managing director Paul Benson had exercised options and sold the majority of the shares he acquired on market at almost 1.5 times the cost of the options, a scenario he has now repeated. This time Mr Benson has exercised 300,000 options at $2.98 each and sold 200,000 shares at $4.54 each. His stake in the South American junior is now 328,684 shares currently worth more than $1.5 million.
