Perth-based construction company Diploma Group has been announced as preferred contractor for the $45 million redevelopment of the Kwinana Hub shopping centre.
The refurbishment and extension of the Kwinana Hub will almost double its current retail floor space of 16,738 square metres to 30,794sqm.
Anchor tenants include Woolworths, IGA, Dan Murphy's and Big W.
Diploma said a formal design and construct agreement would be forthcoming within the next two weeks, pending successful negotiations on “a number of matters”.
