QUIET achiever SystemArt was in the limelight at the 2000 Asia Pacific IT&T Awards, winning the Best Business Innovation category.

Formed in 1996, SystemArt specialises in developing software and electronic commerce solutions in the area of Customer Relationship Management.

SystemArt managing director Brendan O’Reilly said the company’s suite of CRM products was designed to enhance an organisation’s ability to manage its knowledge about its customers.

“Knowing your customer intimately is one of the few sustainable ways companies can differentiate themselves – both online and offline,” Mr O’Reilly said.

“The challenge is to capture customer information as simply as possible and translate its use into measurable results.”

IT research group IDC has reported that CRM was the fastest growing sector across all major software application fronts and would increase at a 44 per cent compound annual growth rate worldwide compared to 15 per cent growth in the overall applications market.

SystemArt’s client base includes Boral, Pavement Technology, BankWest, Monsanto, Water Corporation, TAFE CBS and the Department of Agriculture.

The West Perth-based company plans to expand nationally.

SystemArt director Robin Thompson said the company intended to have a sales and consulting presence in Sydney and Melbourne by December.

“The corporate head office and support will remain local,” Ms Thompson said.

“We will enter all other States next year.”
