SCANDINAVIAN focused minerals explorer Dragon Mining has appointed a new chief executive in former Grants Patch managing director Peter Cordin. Mr Cordin was an engineering consultant to the mining industry until 1987, when he was appointed to Grants Patch, a previously producing gold miner. Since then, Mr Cordin has worked in chief executive positions in Australia, London, Kazakhstan and New Caledonia. Dragon recently announced a three-year alliance with major Canadian nickel producer Inco to explore ground in Finland.
