FORMER Alinta Infrastructure Holdings chief executive officer John Cahill has been appointed Western Australian president of accounting body CPA Australia. Mr Cahill has over 25 years’ experience in the energy industry and was AIH CEO and a director of various subsidiary companies within the group, until its recent de-listing from the ASX. Prior to his role at AIH, Mr Cahill was the inaugural AlintaGas chief financial officer. He is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a fellow and councillor with CPA Australia’s WA division
