BURSWOOD dominated nominations in the category of best corporate hospitality provider with entertainment facilities.

Its wide range of venues, from conference facilities through to the theatre and the Burswood Dome, make it a highly competitive destination.

The opening next year of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will add a new level of competition in the local market.

Some of Perth’s other big venues, including the Perth Concert Hall, the WACA Ground and Subiaco Oval also attracted nominations as top corporate hospitality providers.

Western Australia’s big housing builders dominated nominations in the category of best residential construction company.

Len Buckeridge’s BGC Housing is the State’s largest housing builder following its acquisition during the year of most of the J-Corp business, which it already 50 per cent owned.

Next on the list is Alcock/Brown-Neaves Group, which includes the Dale Alcock-led Dale Alcock Homes and Webb & Brown-Neaves.

In the motor trade, the most highly regarded dealers included Automotive Holdings Group, which has 27 vehicle and truck franchises across 13 dealerships, making it WA’s largest dealer group.

Other car dealers to attract nominations included John Hughes Skipper Mitsubishi in Victoria Park, Honda North and Henley Saab, both in Osborne Park and McInerney Ford.
