Challenger Exploration has appointed current chief operating officer for South America Sergio Rotondo as executive director. Mr Rotondo has an extensive background in managing billion-dollar construction projects from design through completion, and has partnered with some of Argentina’s largest real estate developers and designers. He has been with the company since September 2019.

Culpeo Minerals commenced trading on the ASX today. Its board includes Max Tuesley as managing director, Geoffrey McNamara as non-executive chair, Zeffron Reeves and Paul Schmiede as non-executive directors.

CZR Resources has appointed experienced resources executives Russell Clark and Malcolm Carson as non-executive directors. Mr Clark has over 40 years of global experience in board, senior corporate, operational and project development roles. Mr Carson is a highly experienced geologist with more than 40 years of experience in the resource sector. Their appointments follow the departure of David Flanagan, Anna Neuling, Simon Jackson and Robert Ramsay from the board. CZR is also in advanced discussions with the appointment of an experienced executive director.

Norwest Minerals has appointed highly experienced technical and corporate executive Hok Kiang Sia as non-executive director. Mr Sia is a professional geologist with 40 years of hands-on mining and exploration experience in various metal mining projects within Malaysia, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Guyana, USA, Canada, Central Africa, Mongolia, Australia, Indonesia, and Cambodia.

Triple Energy has appointed Paul Garner as non-executive director, with Tun Yiu Kei resigning from the board. Mr Garner has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and has served on the boards of several public-listed companies.

Derek Hall has stepped down as joint company secretary of WestStar Industrial.
