Robotic technology company FBR has appointed Grant Anderson as non-executive director, following the retirement of Andrew Bloore from the board. Mr  Anderson has 40 years of experience in the design and manufacturing sectors, and extensive board experience in ASX-listed and private companies across multiple industries and countries.

Nicholas Earner has joined the board of Genesis Minerals as non-executive director. Mr  Earner is a chemical engineer with 25 years of experience in technical and operational optimisation and management, and has held a number of executive roles in mining and processing.

Benjamin Jarvis has been appointed to the board of Hipo Resources as non-executive director. Mr  Jarvis, co-founder of Six Degrees Investor Relations which provides investor relations services to a broad range of companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, has extensive experience in the small resources sector as a public company director and strategic advisor. He replaces Sam Jarvis who has resigned from the board due to increasing commitments in the oil & gas sector.

Lynne Saint has been appointed an independent non-executive director of Iluka Resources. Ms  Saint spent over 19 years with Bechtel Group where she served as chief audit executive and chief financial officer of its mining and metals global business unit. She is experienced in corporate governance, enterprise risk, supply chain and project management.

Mark Ashley has resigned as non-executive chair of Marquee Resources. Current managing director Charles Thomas will also take on the role of executive chair.

Peter Newton, founding director of Metals X, has stepped down as non-executive chair. Simon Heggen, non-executive director since 2012, will take over as non-executive chair. Brett Lambert, Patrick O'Connor and Anthony Polglase have been appointed to the board as independent non-executive directors.

David Buckingham will join the board of Nuheara as non-executive director in November. Mr  Buckingham has extensive experience across technology, growth, mergers and acquisitions, and disrupting entrenched industries by focusing on service and the customer experience. He was previously chief executive and chief financial officer of Navitas.

Australian gold and nickel company Rox Resources has appointed of Dr John Mair as an independent non-executive director. Dr  Mair is an economic geologist with extensive international experience across technical, managerial and corporate fields; and a deep understanding of a range of gold deposits types.
