Board Moves November 23, 2021

David Reed, founder and major shareholder of Neometals, will be retiring from the board at the upcoming AGM on 30 November. Mr Reed spent 20 years serving in executive, chair and non-executive director capacities. He is stepping aside to focus on his family and his extensive involvement in charitable endeavours.

Andy Chi Zhang, longstanding non-executive director of Resource Mining Corporation since 2006, has resigned from the board. Trevor Matthews has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the board. Mr Matthews has an accounting and finance background, and over 35 years of experience in the resources industry. He has extensive executive management experience of feasibility studies, project planning/development, coordination and leveraging capital markets effectively to secure the appropriate mix of debt/equity funding to successfully develop a mining project.

Steven Michael, interim chief executive of Vimy Resources for the past 3 months, will join the board as an executive director on 29 November. David Cornell, who has been with the company since 2011, has resigned as non-executive director.
